# How Mira finds, scores and drafts your channel posts

**TL;DR**

- You add sources. Mira searches them and scores each item against your channel topic.
- You read the drafts in the Inbox, edit them, then publish or plan them.
- On Free, a post you add to the plan goes out on its own. Pro adds auto-publish in your time window.
- Mira picks and drafts. If you want every post copied unchanged, a forwarding bot fits better.

## The whole flow in four steps

1. **Add a source.** Paste an address or a search phrase. Mira checks it before saving it.
2. **Run a search.** Mira collects new items, filters them and scores each one.
3. **Review the Inbox.** Open an item, edit the text and pick what fits your channel.
4. **Publish or plan.** Post now, or choose a date and time in your time zone.

## Step 1: add sources

Open **More**, then **Sources**. Pick a type, paste an address or a search phrase and add it. Mira checks the source first and shows the result.

Have an RSS feed? Add it as a Website source, and Mira picks up new items on its own. More in the [RSS guide](https://usemira.pro/blog/rss-to-telegram).

Mira reads six kinds of sources.

| Source | What Mira reads | Plan |
| ------------------ | --------------------------------- | --------------------- |
| Website | The site feed, or the page itself | Free |
| Telegram channel | Public channel posts | Free, up to 1 channel |
| YouTube channel | New videos | Pro |
| Subreddit | New posts | Pro |
| Google News search | Results for your search phrase | Pro |
| Bluesky profile | New posts | Pro |

Every source has a status. It can be Checking, Working, No news yet, Needs a check, No access or Off.

If a source breaks, Mira shows the reason and how to fix it. Your other sources keep working.

## Step 2: search and scoring

A search runs from **Today** or from **Sources**. Mira collects items, filters them, scores them and adds the best to your Inbox.

You see the current step while it runs. You can close the screen, and the search goes on.

Scoring uses your **Profile**: topic, audience, tone and what to avoid. Set it once and change it when your channel changes.

## Step 3: review the Inbox

Each item shows its source, a short summary and the reason Mira picked it. Open an item to edit it or improve it with AI. You can also publish it, plan it or remove it.

Text that Mira wrote or changed is marked as a Mira draft.

Mira always makes a draft first. If you want every post copied unchanged, see [when Mira is the wrong tool](https://usemira.pro/blog/mira-vs-junctionbot#when-mira-is-the-wrong-tool).

> Example draft, not a real post: City Cycling. A new bike lane opened on River Avenue. A new two-way bike lane opened on River Avenue on Monday. It connects the station with the park. Relevance score: 8.4

You can also write a post from scratch in **Create**. Write the post yourself or start from a topic. Both open the same editor with a preview.

## Step 4: publish or plan

Publishing needs a connected channel. If none is connected, Mira opens the channel check and brings you back.

To plan a post, tap **Schedule** on an item. Pick a date and time in your time zone.

In **Plan**, posts appear by day. You can edit a post, move it or publish it now.

## Auto-publish on Pro

Pro can publish drafts for you. You set the posts per day, a time window and the lowest score allowed. Mira publishes only drafts that pass.

Before you turn it on, Mira shows the rules on one screen. You confirm them, and you can switch it off at any time.
